These embellished reproductions are very difficult to visually tell the difference between it and the original.

 

The original creation was as follows.  The skin areas were painted in oil built up in layers to keep paint profile to a minimum. other areas such as fabric and hair are undertaken in acrylic.  The work is varnished with three coats, so does not need to be behind glass.
